We want to bring this fresh incarnation of music and film to the stage so we can create the fundraisers of fundraisers to support the men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Join us! I wrote this piece as a tribute to the soldiers. The more of them I met, the more of their stories I read, the more I fell in love with them -- their character, their integrity, their selflessness, their sense of humor! If we all had that quality of character, we wouldn't be a divided nation in economic turmoil. It began as a tribute, and I want to take it all the way to further acknowledge them and welcome them home. Because giving back ROCKS! Soldiers know that. Everyone needs to feel how that feels. |
